Xilinx Virtex-5 FX100T-3 PCI Express Gen 1 & Gen 2 Development Platform

The HTG-V5-PCIE-100-3 board is powered by Xilinx Virtex™-5 FX100T-3 with sixteen RocketIO™ GTP Transceivers, four hard-coded Gigabit Ethernet Media Access Controllers (MAC) , one PCI Express End-Point Block, and more than 100,000 FPGA logic cells

The HTG-V5-PCIE-100-3 provides wide variety of connectors and interfaces including ;one PCI Express 8-lane upstream, two Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000, one with SGMII support), eight SMA (connected to two RocketIO GTP channels), and two Samtec with 64 pairs of LVDS (for add-on modules).

The HTG-V5-PCIE-100-3 board provides access to up to 2 GB of DDR-2 memory through one set of SO-DIMM socket. An Elpida DDR-2 (512 MB) module is included.

The HTG-V5-PCIE-100-3 can be used either as stand-alone or PCI Express (Gen 1 & Gen 2) based card. This provides additional functionality and cost saving so designers can use the board for multiple designs and projects.
